ScotLex is a Scottish Lexicographic Network, formed in 2016. Its aim is to encourage debate and collaboration between those working in any area of lexicography in Scotland. This may include, for example:
- Scots and Gaelic dictionaries both current and historical
- Scottish dictionaries or thesauruses of English
- English (or international) dictionaries that include Scottish material
- English monolingual or bilingual dictionary projects based in Scotland
We welcome contributions and interest from both academic and commercial or freelance lexicographers, and also from international researchers with an interest in Scottish lexicography. Email us at contact@scotlex.org, or via our Twitter account @scot_lex.
